Divisions in the Church

1But I, brothers,
Or  brothers and sisters
could not address you as ospiritual people, but as ppeople of the flesh, as qinfants in Christ.
2 rI fed you with milk, not solid food, for syou were not ready for it. And even now you are not yet ready,

1 Corinthians 8:7-13

7However, not all possess this knowledge. But some, tthrough former association with idols, eat food as really offered to an idol, and utheir conscience, being weak, is defiled. 8 vFood will not commend us to God. We are no worse off if we do not eat, and no better off if we do. 9But take care wthat this right of yours does not somehow become a stumbling block xto the weak. 10For if anyone sees you who have knowledge eating
Greek reclining at table
in an idol’s temple, will he not be encouraged,
Or fortified; Greek built up
if his conscience is weak, to eat food offered to idols?
11And so by your knowledge this weak person is aadestroyed, the brother for whom Christ died. 12Thus, sinning against your brothers
Or  brothers and sisters
and acwounding their conscience when it is weak, adyou sin against Christ.
13Therefore, aeif food makes my brother stumble, I will never eat meat, lest I make my brother stumble.

1 Corinthians 9:22

22 afTo the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak. agI have become all things to all people, that ahby all means I might save some.
