Zechariah 12:3-6

3 aOn that day I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples. bAll who lift it will surely hurt themselves. And call the nations of the earth will gather against it. 4 dOn that day, declares the Lord, eI will strike every horse fwith panic, and its rider gwith madness. But for the sake of the house of Judah I will keep my eyes open, when I strike every horse of the peoples hwith blindness. 5Then the clans of Judah shall say to themselves, ‘The inhabitants of Jerusalem have strength through the Lord of hosts, their God.’

6 i“On that day I will make the clans of Judah jlike a blazing pot in the midst of wood, like a flaming torch among sheaves. And kthey shall devour to the right and to the left all the surrounding peoples, while lJerusalem shall again be inhabited in its place, in Jerusalem.

Zechariah 14:3

3 mThen the Lord will go out and fight against those nations as when he fights on a day of battle.

Zechariah 14:12

12And this shall be nthe plague with which the Lord will strike all the peoples that wage war against Jerusalem: their flesh will rot while they are still standing on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths.

Romans 8:31-39

God’s Everlasting Love

31What then shall we say to these things? oIf God is for us, who can be
Or  who is
against us?
32 qHe who did not spare his own Son but rgave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? 33Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect? sIt is God who justifies. 34 tWho is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raiseduwho is at the right hand of God, vwho indeed is interceding for us.
Or Is it Christ Jesus who died . . . for us?
35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? 36As it is written,

x“For your sake ywe are being killed all the day long;
we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.”
37No, in all these things we are more than zconquerors through aahim who loved us. 38For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Revelation of John 18:20

20 abRejoice over her, O heaven,
and you saints and acapostles and prophets,
for adGod has given judgment for you against her!”
