A Vision of Joshua the High Priest

1 Then he showed me ^aJoshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and ^bSatan ^{▼▼Hebrew the Accuser or the Adversary} standing at his right hand to accuse him. 2 And the Lord said to Satan, ^d“The Lord rebuke you, O Satan! The Lord who has ^echosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is not this ^fa brand ^{▼▼That is, a burning stick} plucked from the fire?” 3 Now ^hJoshua was standing before the angel, ⁱclothed with filthy garments. 4 And the angel said to ^jthose who were standing before him, ^k“Remove the filthy garments from him.” And to him he said, “Behold, ^lI have taken your iniquity away from you, and ^mI will clothe you with pure vestments.”
