Zechariah 8:11-15

11But now I will not deal with the remnant of this people as in the former days, declares the Lord of hosts. 12 aFor there shall be a sowing of peace. The vine shall give its fruit, and the ground shall give its produce, band the heavens shall give their dew. cAnd I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these things. 13And as dyou have been a byword of cursing among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, eso will I save you, and fyou shall be a blessing. gFear not, but hlet your hands be strong.”

14For thus says the Lord of hosts: i“As I purposed to bring disaster to you when your fathers provoked me to wrath, and I did not relent, says the Lord of hosts, 15so again have I purposed in these days to bring good to Jerusalem and to the house of Judah; jfear not.

Hebrews 8:8-13

8For he finds fault with them when he says:
Some manuscripts  For finding fault with it he says to them

lBehold, the days are coming, declares the Lord,
when I will establish a new covenant with the house of Israel
and with the house of Judah,
9not like the covenant that I made with their fathers
on the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt.
For they did not continue in my covenant,
and so I showed no concern for them, declares the Lord.
10 mFor this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel
after those days, declares the Lord:
I will put my laws into their minds,
and nwrite them on their hearts,
and I will be their God,
and they shall be my people.
11And they shall not teach, each one his neighbor
and each one his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’
for they shall oall know me,
from the least of them to the greatest.
12For I will be merciful toward their iniquities,
pand I will remember their sins no more.”
13In speaking of a new covenant, he makes the first one obsolete. And qwhat is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.
