20 “Thus says the Lord of hosts: Peoples shall yet come, even the inhabitants of many cities. 21 The inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, ^a‘Let us go at once ^bto entreat the favor of the Lord and to seek the Lord of hosts; I myself am going.’ 22 ^cMany peoples and strong nations shall come to seek the Lord of hosts in Jerusalem and ^dto entreat the favor of the Lord. 23 Thus says the Lord of hosts: In those days ^eten men ^ffrom the nations of every tongue shall take hold of the robe of a Jew, saying, ‘Let us go with you, for ^gwe have heard that God is with you.’”

The Seventh Trumpet

15 Then ^hthe seventh angel blew his trumpet, and ⁱthere were loud voices in heaven, saying, ^j“The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of ^khis Christ, and ^lhe shall reign forever and ever.” 16 And the twenty-four elders ^mwho sit on their thrones before God ⁿfell on their faces and worshiped God, 17 saying,

“We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty,
^owho is and who was,
for you have taken your great power
and ^pbegun to reign.
18 The nations raged,
but ^qyour wrath came,
and ^rthe time for the dead to be judged,
and for rewarding your servants, ^{▼▼Greek bondservants} the prophets and saints,
and ^tthose who fear your name,
both small and great,
and ^ufor destroying the destroyers of the earth.”
19 Then ^vGod’s temple in heaven was opened, and ^wthe ark of his covenant was seen within his temple. There were flashes of lightning, rumblings, ^{▼▼Or voices, or sounds} peals of thunder, an earthquake, and ^yheavy hail.
