Zephaniah 2:9

9Therefore, aas I live,” declares the Lord of hosts,
the God of Israel,
Moab shall become blike Sodom,
and the Ammonites clike Gomorrah,
a land possessed by nettles and salt pits,
and a waste forever.
The remnant of my people shall plunder them,
and the survivors of my nation shall possess them.”

Zephaniah 2:13-15

13 And he will stretch out his hand against the north
dand destroy Assyria,
and he ewill make Nineveh a desolation,
a dry waste like the desert.
14 fHerds shall lie down in her midst,
all kinds of beasts;
Hebrew beasts of every nation

heven the owl and the hedgehog
The identity of the animals rendered  owl and  hedgehog is uncertain

shall lodge in her capitals;
a voice shall hoot in the window;
devastation will be on the threshold;
for jher cedar work will be laid bare.
15This is the exultant city
kthat lived securely,
that said in her heart,
I am, and there is no one else.”
What a desolation she has become,
la lair for wild beasts!
mEveryone who passes by her
hisses and nshakes his fist.

Revelation of John 18:2

2And he called out with a mighty voice,

She has become qa dwelling place for demons,

a haunt for every unclean and detestable beast.

21Then ta mighty angel utook up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying,

So will Babylon vthe great city be thrown down with violence,
and will be found no more;
22and wthe sound of harpists and musicians, of flute players and trumpeters,
will be heard in you no more,
and a craftsman of any craft
will be found in you no more,
and xthe sound of the mill
will be heard in you no more,
