^aYou shall therefore keep my statutes and my rules; ^bif a person does them, he shall live by them: I am the Lord.

For ^cMoses writes about the righteousness that is based on the law, that ^dthe person who does the commandments shall live by them.

Μωϋσῆς γὰρ γράφει τὴν δικαιοσύνην τὴν ἐκ νόμου ὅτι ὁ ποιήσας αὐτὰ ἄνθρωπος ζήσεται ἐν αὐτῇ.

But the law is not of faith, rather ^e“The one who does them shall live by them.”

ὁ δὲ νόμος οὐκ ἔστιν ἐκ πίστεως ἀλλὰ ὁ ποιήσας αὐτὰ ζήσεται ἐν αὐτοῖς.
