And he found a Jew named cAquila, a native of dPontus having recently come from eItaly with his wife fPriscilla, because gClaudius had commanded all the Jews to leave Rome. He came to them,

and because he was of the same trade he stayed with them, and hthey worked together, for they were tent-makers by trade.
