כִּי הַתּוֹרָה בִּהְיוֹת בָּהּ צֵל הַטֹּבוֹת הָעֲתִידוֹת וְלֹא מַרְאֵה עֶצֶם הַדְּבָרִים אֵין בִּיכָלְתָּהּ לְהַשְׁלִים אֶת־הַקְּרֵבִים בַּקָּרְבָּנוֹת הָהֵם אֲשֶׁר יַקְרִיבוּ תָמִיד מִדֵּי שָׁנָה בְשָׁנָה׃
For the
Law, since it
has only aa
shadow of
bthe
good things to come and not the
▼form of
those things itself,
▼can enever, by the
same sacrifices which they
offer continually every year,
fmake those who
approach perfect.

כִּי לוּלֵא זֹאת חָדְלוּ מֵהֲבִיאָם בַּאֲשֶׁר הַמַּקְרִיבִים בְּהִטָּהֲרָם פַּעַם אַחַת לֹא־הָיְתָה בָהֶם עוֹד רִגְשַׁת חֲטָאִים׃
Otherwise, would they not have
ceased to be
offered,
because the
worshipers, having
once been
cleansed, would
no longer have had gconsciousness of
sins?

reminder of
sins every year.
