וּבְאֶחָד בַּשַּׁבָּת לִפְנֵי עֲלוֹת הַשַּׁחַר בָּאוּ אֶל־הַקָּבֶר וַתְּבִיאֶינָה אֶת־הַבְּשָׂמִים אֲשֶׁר הֵכִינוּ וְעִמָּהֶן עוֹד אֲחֵרוֹת׃
aBut on the
first day of the
week, at
early dawn, they
came to the
tomb bringing the
spices which they had
prepared.

While they were
perplexed about this,
behold,
ctwo men suddenly dstood near them in
gleaming clothing;

and as

terrified and
bowed their
faces to the
ground,
the men said to them, “
Why are you
seeking the
living One
among the
dead?

spoke to you

deed and

chief priests and our
zrulers handed Him
over to be
sentenced to
death, and
crucified Him.

But we

hoping that it was He who
was going to abredeem Israel.
Indeed,
besides all this, it is

vision of

“ ▼You foolish men and slow of heart to believe in all that aethe prophets have spoken!

And
so they
strongly urged Him,
saying, “
Stay with us, for it is
getting toward evening, and the

now nearly over.”
So He
went in to
stay with them.

“ boSo it is written, that the ▼Christ would suffer and bqrise from the dead on the third day,

וַאֲשֶׁר תִּקָּרֵא בִשְׁמוֹ תְּשׁוּבָה וּסְלִיחַת הַחֲטָאִים בְּכָל־הַגּוֹיִם הָחֵל מִירוּשָׁלָיִם׃

and forgiveness for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed ▼in His name to buall the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.
