Psa 110 | ESV | STEP | A Psalm of David . The Lord says to my Lord : Sit at my right hand , until I make your enemies your footstool .

1 ^aThe Lord says to my Lord:
^b“Sit at my right hand,
^cuntil I make your enemies your ^dfootstool.”
2 The Lord sends forth ^efrom Zion
^fyour mighty scepter.
^gRule in the midst of your enemies!
3 ^hYour people will ⁱoffer themselves freely
on the day of your ^jpower, ^{▼▼Or on the day you lead your forces}

from the womb of the morning,

4 ^oThe Lord has ^psworn
and will ^qnot change his mind,

after the order of ^uMelchizedek.”
5 The Lord is at your ^vright hand;
he will ^wshatter kings on ^xthe day of his wrath.
6 He will ^yexecute judgment among the nations,
^zfilling them with corpses;
he will ^aashatter chiefs ^{▼▼Or the head}
over the wide earth.
7 He will ^acdrink from the brook by the way;
therefore he will lift up his head.
