Mat 3:15 But Jesus answered him, Let it be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he consented.
Mat 4:4 But he answered, “It is written,

“‘Man shall not live by bread alone,
but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”
Mat 8:8 But the centurion replied, “Lord, I am not worthy to have you come under my roof, but only say the word, and my servant will be healed.

Mat 15:28 Then Jesus answered her, O woman, great is your faith! Let it be done for you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed instantly.

Mat 16:2 He answered them, “When it is evening, you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red.’
Mat 16:16 Simon Peter replied, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
Mat 16:17 And Jesus answered him, Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.
Mat 17:4 And Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good that we are here. If you wish, I will make three tents here, one for you and one for Moses and one for Elijah.”
Mat 17:11 He answered, Elijah does come, and he will restore all things.
Mat 17:17 And Jesus answered, O faithless and twisted generation, how long am I to be with you? How long am I to bear with you? Bring him here to me.”
Mat 19:4 He answered, “Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female,
Mat 19:27 Then Peter said in reply, “See, we have left everything and followed you. What then will we have?”
Mat 20:13 But he replied to one of them, Friend, I am doing you no wrong. Did you not agree with me for a denarius?
Mat 20:22 Jesus answered, “You do not know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup that I am to drink?” They said to him, “We are able.”
Mat 21:21 And Jesus answered them, Truly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen.
Mat 21:24 Jesus answered them, I also will ask you one question, and if you tell me the answer, then I also will tell you by what authority I do these things.
Mat 21:27 So they answered Jesus, “We do not know.” And he said to them, Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.

Mat 21:29 And he answered, ‘I will not,’ but afterward he changed his mind and went.
Mat 21:30 And he went to the other son and said the same. And he answered, ‘I will, sir,’ but did not go.

Mat 22:1 And again Jesus spoke to them in parables, saying,

Mat 22:29 But Jesus answered them, “You are wrong, because you know neither the Scriptures nor the power of God.
Mat 22:46 And no one was able to answer him a word, nor from that day did anyone dare to ask him any more questions.

Mat 24:4 And Jesus answered them, See that no one leads you astray.
Mat 25:9 But the wise answered, saying, ‘Since there will not be enough for us and for you, go rather to the dealers and buy for yourselves.’
Mat 25:12 But he answered, ‘Truly, I say to you, I do not know you.’
Mat 25:26 But his master answered him, ‘You wicked and slothful servant! You knew that I reap where I have not sown and gather where I scattered no seed?
Mat 25:37 Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink?
Mat 25:40 And the King will answer them, Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’

Mat 25:44 Then they also will answer, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to you?’
Mat 25:45 Then he will answer them, saying, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me.’
Mat 26:23 He answered, “He who has dipped his hand in the dish with me will betray me.
Mat 26:25 Judas, who would betray him, answered, “Is it I, Rabbi?” He said to him, You have said so.”

Mat 26:33 Peter answered him, “Though they all fall away because of you, I will never fall away.”
Mat 26:62 And the high priest stood up and said, “Have you no answer to make? What is it that these men testify against you?”
Mat 26:66 What is your judgment?” They answered, “He deserves death.”
Mat 27:12 But when he was accused by the chief priests and elders, he gave no answer.
Mat 27:14 But he gave him no answer, not even to a single charge, so that the governor was greatly amazed.

Mat 27:25 And all the people answered, His blood be on us and on our children!”

Mar 9:5 And Peter said to Jesus, Rabbi, it is good that we are here. Let us make three tents, one for you and one for Moses and one for Elijah.”
Mar 9:17 And someone from the crowd answered him, “Teacher, I brought my son to you, for he has a spirit that makes him mute.
Mar 9:19 And he answered them, O faithless generation, how long am I to be with you? How long am I to bear with you? Bring him to me.”
