Mat 1:20 But as he considered these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.
Mat 2:6 “‘And you, O Bethlehem, in the land of Judah,
are by no means least among the rulers of Judah;
for from you shall come a ruler
who will shepherd my people Israel.’”
Mat 3:14 John would have prevented him, saying, “I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?”
Mat 4:6 and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, for it is written,

“‘He will command his angels concerning you,’

and

“‘On their hands they will bear you up,
lest you strike your foot against a stone.’”

Mat 4:7 Jesus said to him, Again it is written, ‘You shall not put the Lord your God to the test.’”
Mat 4:10 Then Jesus said to him, “Be gone, Satan! For it is written,

“‘You shall worship the Lord your God
and him only shall you serve.’”
Mat 5:23 So if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you,
Mat 5:24 leave your gift there before the altar and go. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.
Mat 5:25 Come to terms quickly with your accuser while you are going with him to court, lest your accuser hand you over to the judge, and the judge to the guard, and you be put in prison.
Mat 5:29 If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into hell.
Mat 5:30 And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body go into hell.

Mat 5:33 Again you have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not swear falsely, but shall perform to the Lord what you have sworn.’
Mat 5:36 And do not take an oath by your head, for you cannot make one hair white or black.
Mat 5:39 But I say to you, Do not resist the one who is evil. But if anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also.
Mat 5:40 And if anyone would sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well.
Mat 5:42 Give to the one who begs from you, and do not refuse the one who would borrow from you.

Mat 5:43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’

Mat 6:2 Thus, when you give to the needy, sound no trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be praised by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward.
Mat 6:3 But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,
Mat 6:4 so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

Mat 6:6 But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

Mat 6:9 Pray then like this:

Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
Mat 6:10 Your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Mat 6:17 But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face,
Mat 6:18 that your fasting may not be seen by others but by your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

Mat 6:22 “The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light,
Mat 6:23 but if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!

Mat 7:3 Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?
Mat 7:4 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye?
Mat 7:5 You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.

Mat 9:2 And behold, some people brought to him a paralytic, lying on a bed. And when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Take heart, my son; your sins are forgiven.”
Mat 9:6 But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins—he then said to the paralyticRise, pick up your bed and go home.”

Mat 9:14 Then the disciples of John came to him, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees fast, but your disciples do not fast?”

Mat 9:18 While he was saying these things to them, behold, a ruler came in and knelt before him, saying, “My daughter has just died, but come and lay your hand on her, and she will live.”
Mat 9:22 Jesus turned, and seeing her he said, “Take heart, daughter; your faith has made you well.” And instantly the woman was made well.
Mat 11:10 This is he of whom it is written,

“‘Behold, I send my messenger before your face,
who will prepare your way before you.’
Mat 11:26 yes, Father, for such was your gracious will.
Mat 12:2 But when the Pharisees saw it, they said to him, Look, your disciples are doing what is not lawful to do on the Sabbath.”
Mat 12:13 Then he said to the man, Stretch out your hand.” And the man stretched it out, and it was restored, healthy like the other.
Mat 12:37 for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”

Mat 12:38 Then some of the scribes and Pharisees answered him, saying, “Teacher, we wish to see a sign from you.”
Mat 15:2Why do your disciples break the tradition of the elders? For they do not wash their hands when they eat.”
Mat 15:4 For God commanded, Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘Whoever reviles father or mother must surely die.’
Mat 15:28 Then Jesus answered her, O woman, great is your faith! Let it be done for you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed instantly.

Mat 17:16 And I brought him to your disciples, and they could not heal him.”
Mat 17:27 However, not to give offense to them, go to the sea and cast a hook and take the first fish that comes up, and when you open its mouth you will find a shekel. Take that and give it to them for me and for yourself.”

Mat 18:8 And if your hand or your foot causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life crippled or lame than with two hands or two feet to be thrown into the eternal fire.
Mat 18:9 And if your eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than with two eyes to be thrown into the hell of fire.

Mat 18:15 If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother.
Mat 18:16 But if he does not listen, take one or two others along with you, that every charge may be established by the evidence of two or three witnesses.
Mat 18:33 And should not you have had mercy on your fellow servant, as I had mercy on you?’
Mat 19:19 Honor your father and mother, and, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
Mat 19:21 Jesus said to him, If you would be perfect, go, sell what you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.”
Mat 20:15 Am I not allowed to do what I choose with what belongs to me? Or do you begrudge my generosity?’
Mat 20:21 And he said to her, What do you want?” She said to him, “Say that these two sons of mine are to sit, one at your right hand and one at your left, in your kingdom.”
Mat 21:5 Say to the daughter of Zion,
Behold, your king is coming to you,
humble, and mounted on a donkey,
on a colt, the foal of a beast of burden.’”
Mat 21:19 And seeing a fig tree by the wayside, he went to it and found nothing on it but only leaves. And he said to it, “May no fruit ever come from you again!” And the fig tree withered at once.

Mat 22:37 And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.
Mat 22:39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
Mat 22:44 “‘The Lord said to my Lord,
Sit at my right hand,
until I put your enemies under your feet”’?
