Gen 8:20 Then Noah built an altar to the Lord and took some of every clean animal and some of every clean bird and offered burnt offerings on the altar.
Gen 12:7 Then the Lord appeared to Abram and said, “To your offspring I will give this land.” So he built there an altar to the Lord, who had appeared to him.

Exo 29:18 and burn the whole ram on the altar. It is a burnt offering to the Lord. It is a pleasing aroma, a food offering to the Lord.
Exo 29:20 and you shall kill the ram and take part of its blood and put it on the tip of the right ear of Aaron and on the tips of the right ears of his sons, and on the thumbs of their right hands and on the great toes of their right feet, and throw the rest of the blood against the sides of the altar.
Exo 29:21 Then you shall take part of the blood that is on the altar, and of the anointing oil, and sprinkle it on Aaron and his garments, and on his sons and his sons’ garments with him. He and his garments shall be holy, and his sons and his sons’ garments with him.
Exo 29:25 Then you shall take them from their hands and burn them on the altar on top of the burnt offering, as a pleasing aroma before the Lord. It is a food offering to the Lord.
Exo 29:36 and every day you shall offer a bull as a sin offering for atonement. Also you shall purify the altar, when you make atonement for it, and shall anoint it to consecrate it.
Exo 29:37 Seven days you shall make atonement for the altar and consecrate it, and the altar shall be most holy. Whatever touches the altar shall become holy.
Exo 29:38 “Now this is what you shall offer on the altar: two lambs a year old day by day regularly.
Exo 29:44 I will consecrate the tent of meeting and the altar. Aaron also and his sons I will consecrate to serve me as priests.

Exo 38:30 with it he made the bases for the entrance of the tent of meeting, the bronze altar and the bronze grating for it and all the utensils of the altar,
Exo 39:38 the golden altar, the anointing oil and the fragrant incense, and the screen for the entrance of the tent;
Exo 39:39 the bronze altar, and its grating of bronze, its poles, and all its utensils; the basin and its stand;
Exo 40:5 And you shall put the golden altar for incense before the ark of the testimony, and set up the screen for the door of the tabernacle.
Exo 40:6 You shall set the altar of burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting,
Exo 40:7 and place the basin between the tent of meeting and the altar, and put water in it.
Exo 40:10 You shall also anoint the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils, and consecrate the altar, so that the altar may become most holy.
Exo 40:26 He put the golden altar in the tent of meeting before the veil,
Exo 40:29 And he set the altar of burnt offering at the entrance of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting, and offered on it the burnt offering and the grain offering, as the Lord had commanded Moses.
Exo 40:30 He set the basin between the tent of meeting and the altar, and put water in it for washing,
