Gen 9:25 he said, “Cursed be Canaan;
a servant of servants shall he be to his brothers.”
a servant of servants shall he be to his brothers.”
Gen 9:26 He also said,“Blessed be the Lord, the God of Shem;
and let Canaan be his servant.
and let Canaan be his servant.
Gen 9:27 May God enlarge Japheth,
and let him dwell in the tents of Shem,
and let Canaan be his servant.”
and let him dwell in the tents of Shem,
and let Canaan be his servant.”
Gen 12:16 And for her sake he dealt well with Abram; and he had sheep, oxen, male donkeys, male servants, female servants, female donkeys, and camels.
Gen 14:15 And he divided his forces against them by night, he and his servants, and defeated them and pursued them to Hobah, north of Damascus.
Gen 18:3 and said, “O Lord, if I have found favor in your sight, do not pass by your servant.
Gen 18:5 while I bring a morsel of bread, that you may refresh yourselves, and after that you may pass on— since you have come to your servant.” So they said, “Do as you have said.”
Gen 19:2 and said, “My lords, please turn aside to your servant’s house and spend the night and wash your feet. Then you may rise up early and go on your way.” They said, “No; we will spend the night in the town square.”
Gen 19:19 Behold, your servant has found favor in your sight, and you have shown me great kindness in saving my life. But I cannot escape to the hills, lest the disaster overtake me and I die.
Gen 20:8 So Abimelech rose early in the morning and called all his servants and told them all these things. And the men were very much afraid.
Gen 20:14 Then Abimelech took sheep and oxen, and male servants and female servants, and gave them to Abraham, and returned Sarah his wife to him.
Gen 21:25 When Abraham reproved Abimelech about a well of water that Abimelech’s servants had seized,
Gen 24:2 And Abraham said to his servant, the oldest of his household, who had charge of all that he had, “Put your hand under my thigh,
Gen 24:5 The servant said to him, “Perhaps the woman may not be willing to follow me to this land. Must I then take your son back to the land from which you came?”
Gen 24:9 So the servant put his hand under the thigh of Abraham his master and swore to him concerning this matter.
Gen 24:10 Then the servant took ten of his master’s camels and departed, taking all sorts of choice gifts from his master; and he arose and went to Mesopotamia to the city of Nahor.
Gen 24:14 Let the young woman to whom I shall say, ‘Please let down your jar that I may drink,’ and who shall say, ‘Drink, and I will water your camels’—let her be the one whom you have appointed for your servant Isaac. By this I shall know that you have shown steadfast love to my master.”
Gen 24:17 Then the servant ran to meet her and said, “Please give me a little water to drink from your jar.”
Gen 24:34 So he said, “I am Abraham’s servant.
Gen 24:35 The Lord has greatly blessed my master, and he has become great. He has given him flocks and herds, silver and gold, male servants and female servants, camels and donkeys.
Gen 24:52 When Abraham’s servant heard their words, he bowed himself to the earth before the Lord.
Gen 24:53 And the servant brought out jewelry of silver and of gold, and garments, and gave them to Rebekah. He also gave to her brother and to her mother costly ornaments.
Gen 24:59 So they sent away Rebekah their sister and her nurse, and Abraham’s servant and his men.
Gen 24:61 Then Rebekah and her young women arose and rode on the camels and followed the man. Thus the servant took Rebekah and went his way.
Gen 24:65 and said to the servant, “Who is that man, walking in the field to meet us?” The servant said, “It is my master.” So she took her veil and covered herself.
Gen 24:66 And the servant told Isaac all the things that he had done.
Gen 26:15 (Now the Philistines had stopped and filled with earth all the wells that his father’s servants had dug in the days of Abraham his father.)
Gen 26:19 But when Isaac’s servants dug in the valley and found there a well of spring water,
Gen 26:24 And the Lord appeared to him the same night and said, “I am the God of Abraham your father. Fear not, for I am with you and will bless you and multiply your offspring for my servant Abraham’s sake.”
Gen 26:25 So he built an altar there and called upon the name of the Lord and pitched his tent there. And there Isaac’s servants dug a well.
Gen 26:32 That same day Isaac’s servants came and told him about the well that they had dug and said to him, “We have found water.”
Gen 27:37 Isaac answered and said to Esau, “Behold, I have made him lord over you, and all his brothers I have given to him for servants, and with grain and wine I have sustained him. What then can I do for you, my son?”
Gen 30:43 Thus the man increased greatly and had large flocks, female servants and male servants, and camels and donkeys.
Gen 32:4 instructing them, “Thus you shall say to my lord Esau: Thus says your servant Jacob, ‘I have sojourned with Laban and stayed until now.
Gen 32:5 I have oxen, donkeys, flocks, male servants, and female servants. I have sent to tell my lord, in order that I may find favor in your sight.’”
Gen 32:10 I am not worthy of the least of all the deeds of steadfast love and all the faithfulness that you have shown to your servant, for with only my staff I crossed this Jordan, and now I have become two camps.
Gen 32:16 These he handed over to his servants, every drove by itself, and said to his servants, “Pass on ahead of me and put a space between drove and drove.”
Gen 32:18 then you shall say, ‘They belong to your servant Jacob. They are a present sent to my lord Esau. And moreover, he is behind us.’”
Gen 32:20 and you shall say, ‘Moreover, your servant Jacob is behind us.’” For he thought, “I may appease him with the present that goes ahead of me, and afterward I shall see his face. Perhaps he will accept me.”
Gen 33:5 And when Esau lifted up his eyes and saw the women and children, he said, “Who are these with you?” Jacob said, “The children whom God has graciously given your servant.”
Gen 33:14 Let my lord pass on ahead of his servant, and I will lead on slowly, at the pace of the livestock that are ahead of me and at the pace of the children, until I come to my lord in Seir.”
Gen 39:17 and she told him the same story, saying, “The Hebrew servant, whom you have brought among us, came in to me to laugh at me.
Gen 39:19 As soon as his master heard the words that his wife spoke to him, “This is the way your servant treated me,” his anger was kindled.
Gen 40:20 On the third day, which was Pharaoh’s birthday, he made a feast for all his servants and lifted up the head of the chief cupbearer and the head of the chief baker among his servants.
Gen 41:10 When Pharaoh was angry with his servants and put me and the chief baker in custody in the house of the captain of the guard,
Gen 41:12 A young Hebrew was there with us, a servant of the captain of the guard. When we told him, he interpreted our dreams to us, giving an interpretation to each man according to his dream.
Gen 41:37 This proposal pleased Pharaoh and all his servants.
Gen 41:38 And Pharaoh said to his servants, “Can we find a man like this, in whom is the Spirit of God?”
Gen 42:10 They said to him, “No, my lord, your servants have come to buy food.
Gen 42:11 We are all sons of one man. We are honest men. Your servants have never been spies.”
Gen 42:13 And they said, “We, your servants, are twelve brothers, the sons of one man in the land of Canaan, and behold, the youngest is this day with our father, and one is no more.”
Gen 43:18 And the men were afraid because they were brought to Joseph’s house, and they said, “It is because of the money, which was replaced in our sacks the first time, that we are brought in, so that he may assault us and fall upon us to make us servants and seize our donkeys.”
Gen 43:28 They said, “Your servant our father is well; he is still alive.” And they bowed their heads and prostrated themselves.
Gen 44:7 They said to him, “Why does my lord speak such words as these? Far be it from your servants to do such a thing!
Gen 44:9 Whichever of your servants is found with it shall die, and we also will be my lord’s servants.”
Gen 44:10 He said, “Let it be as you say: he who is found with it shall be my servant, and the rest of you shall be innocent.”
Gen 44:16 And Judah said, “What shall we say to my lord? What shall we speak? Or how can we clear ourselves? God has found out the guilt of your servants; behold, we are my lord’s servants, both we and he also in whose hand the cup has been found.”
Gen 44:17 But he said, “Far be it from me that I should do so! Only the man in whose hand the cup was found shall be my servant. But as for you, go up in peace to your father.”
Gen 44:18 Then Judah went up to him and said, “Oh, my lord, please let your servant speak a word in my lord’s ears, and let not your anger burn against your servant, for you are like Pharaoh himself.
Gen 44:19 My lord asked his servants, saying, ‘Have you a father, or a brother?’
