Daniel, by divine revelation, declares the dream of Nebuchadnezzar, and the interpretation of it. He is highly honoured by the king.

1 In the second year of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar, Nebuchadnezzar saw a dream, and his spirit was terrified, and his dream fled from him. ^{▼▼2:1Notice that this is the second year of Nebuchadnezzar, yet Daniel spent three years preparing to be chosen by Nebuchadnezzar.
