Psalms 118:22

‘The stone that the builders rejected

has become the cornerstone. ^{▼▼Or capstone}

This was the Lord's doing,

and it is amazing in our eyes’? ^{▼▼Ps 118:22-23}

11 For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be ashamed.” ^{▼▼Isa 28:16}Isa 28:16; 49:23; Jer 17:7; Rom 9:33

6 This is why it says in Scripture:Isa 28:16; Rom 9:33

“Look! I am laying a chosen

and precious cornerstone ^{▼▼Or capstone} in Zion.

The one who believes in him will never be ashamed.” ^{▼▼Isa 28:16}

7 Therefore he is precious to you who believe, but to those who do not believe,Ps 118:22; Matt 21:42; Acts 4:11

They keep on stumbling because they disobey the word, as they were destined to do.
