Our sacrifices are only pleasing to God if we offer them up through Jesus Christ ( ; ), that is, in the awareness that God accepts our sacrifices because they speak of Christ and He sees us in Him. No sacrifices or sacrificial material should be washed in the great sea. The great sea is only for priests to wash themselves in. This does not mean that they went into the sea, but that they washed themselves with the water out of the sea.
