For this education, the teaching field at the end of the wilderness journey in the plains of Moab and at the border of the land is an ideal terrain. In this song Moses describes the whole history of Israel including the future: their origin, building and acceptance by the LORD, their ungratefulness and apostacy, their surrender to the Gentiles, their re-acceptance by the LORD and the ultimate blessing and glorification of the people in the realm of peace.
