‏ Micah 7:10

The Enemies Judged

The right of Israel was pushed aside by the peoples who did not count on being God’s disciplinarian, but thought they could act in their own strength and at their own discretion. That is why they went further than God wanted. For that they will be judged, which will also mean the deliverance and restoration of God’s people. Then it will become clear that God is not powerless to act for His people (Psa 42:3; Psa 115:2).

The remnant will look down upon the enemies. They will see with joy that all hostile powers have been defeated and that God has triumphed. The enemies will be trampled “like mire of the streets”, which means that they are worth as much as mire and are just as despicable (Job 30:19; Zec 10:5).
