‏ 1 Corinthians 13:3

v. 3: Paul adds, “If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing”(1 Corinthians 13:3 a). Even extreme acts of charity or sacrifice, like giving away everything or dying for one’s faith, are useless if they are not done with love. Outward actions can be motivated by pride or a desire for recognition, but only love makes them valuable in God’s eyes.

Paul’s message is clear: love is the foundation of true Christianity. Without love, spiritual gifts, knowledge, and even great sacrifices are empty. True love comes from God and transforms everything we do into something that honors Him and blesses others.
