‏ 1 Corinthians 14:18-19

v. 18-19: Paul shares his own example, “I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than you all: yet in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue”(1 Corinthians 14:18-19 a). Paul acknowledges his ability to speak many languages, but he values clear and simple teaching that benefits others. He would rather say a few meaningful words that help people grow in faith than many words that no one can understand. A true servant of Christ prioritizes helping others over showing off personal abilities.
