v. 3-4: In marriage, both husband and wife have responsibilities to each other. Paul says they should give each other what is due in marriage (1 Corinthians 7:3-4 ^b). Neither person owns their body alone, but shares it with their spouse. This means they should care for each other and not withhold affection or support.
