1 Corinthians 9:20
v. 20-22: Paul explains how he adapts to different people. To the Jews, he acts like a Jew to win them. To those under the law, he lives like one under the law. To those without the law, like the Gentiles, he lives as one not under the law—but he always follows the law of Christ. He also becomes “as weak” to those who are weak, so he can help them. Paul sums it up by saying, I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some (1 Corinthians 9:22 a). He never sins or breaks Christ’s law, but he is flexible and thoughtful about the needs and beliefs of others.
