1 Kings 7:2
v. 2–5: Solomon also built a structure called "the house of the forest of Lebanon" (1 Kings 7:2 a). This was likely a grand country estate or retreat, located in the forests of Lebanon. It was made entirely of cedar and had many windows to provide beautiful views (1 Kings 7:2–5 b). Even in his personal buildings, Solomon sought to create spaces that were pleasant and peaceful.
