1Ki 8:66 | MHM | STEP | v. 66 : When the celebrations end, the people bless King Solomon and thank him for his leadership (1 Kings 8:66 ). They return home joyful and glad of heart, thankful for all the good things God has done for them and for the royal family. Their joy is based on God's goodness and blessings. In the same way, we should also rejoice in God's kindness to us, especially through Jesus Christ, who fulfills God's promises to His people. If we are not always joyful about these things, it is our own fault.
