2 Corinthians 3:13-15
– v. 14: Paul explains that those who lived under the law had their minds blinded. A veilwas over their hearts, so they could not truly understand God’s message (2 Corinthians 3:14 a). This was especially true for those who did not accept Jesus after He came. But Paul says a time is coming when this veil will be taken away. v. 15: Even today, when people read the law of Moses, a veil lies over their hearts if they do not believe in Christ (2 Corinthians 3:15 b). They cannot truly understand the scriptures.
