2 Corinthians 8:18
v. 18-19: Paul introduces another brother, thought by many to be Luke, who is praised in the gospel throughout all the churches(2 Corinthians 8:18 a). This man was chosen by the churches to assist Paul in handling the contributions. Paul explains that this was done to avoid any accusations of mismanagement or favoritism in the distribution of the funds (2 Corinthians 8:19 b). Paul’s careful planning reflects his commitment to integrity and transparency.
