‏ Colossians 1:20

v. 20: and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross. The purpose of Christ’s coming was to bring reconciliation—to restore peace between God and all creation, which had been alienated by sin. This peace was achieved not by force, but by the sacrifice of his own blood on the cross (Ephesians 2:14-16 a). The scope of this reconciliation is cosmic, embracing all things in heaven and earth.
