‏ Deuteronomy 25:4

v. 4: Farmers were told not to stop an ox from eating while it worked to thresh grain. This rule taught people to be kind to animals and give them what they needed. The New Testament uses this law to teach that people who serve others, especially those who teach God’s word, should also be cared for and provided for (1 Corinthians 9:9-10; 1 Timothy 5:17-18 a).
