Ephesians 4:30-31
v. 30: He warns them not to grieve the Holy Spirit, who lives in believers and marks them as belonging to God until the day of redemption (And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption; Ephesians 4:30 a). v. 31: Paul urges them to get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, loud quarreling, slander, and all kinds of evil. These attitudes and actions divide and hurt the church (Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice; Ephesians 4:31 b).
