‏ Esther 2:23

v. 23: After investigating the matter, the king found that the accusations were true. The two traitors were hanged for their crime, as they deserved. The event was written in the king’s records, with a note that Mordecai was the one who revealed the plot (Esther 2:23 a). Mordecai was not rewarded immediately, but his loyalty was remembered. This delayed recognition reminds us that God also keeps a record of our faithfulness. Even if our reward is postponed, God will never forget our work of faith and labor of love (Hebrews 6:10 b).
