‏ Esther 5:4-5

v. 4-5: Instead of immediately pleading for her people, Esther invited the king and Haman to a banquet she had prepared (Esther 5:4-5 a). This was a wise move. It showed respect for the king and created an opportunity to speak to him in a more private and favorable setting. By including Haman, she ensured he would hear everything she had to say about his plot.
