‏ Exodus 23:11

v. 11: But in the seventh year, let the land rest and do not plant or harvest. Whatever grows by itself is for the poor to eat, and what they leave is for wild animals. This teaches trust in God’s provision and care for the poor. It also reminds the people that the land belongs to God, and they must obey Him (Exodus 23:11; 2 Chronicles 36:21 a).
