‏ Ezekiel 24:3-5

v. 3-5: In the parable, the best pieces of meat are put in the pot, representing the people of Jerusalem, including the leaders and the most important citizens. The pot is set over a fire, and the contents begin to boil. This means that God is using the siege to “boil” and punish the people for their sins. Their time has come, and they cannot escape.
