‏ Ezekiel 44:23

v. 23–24: The priests must teach the people to know the difference between what is holy and what is common (Ezekiel 44:23 a). They must help people understand right from wrong, so no one confuses good with evil (put darkness for light and light for darkness, Isaiah 5:20). They also judge difficult cases among the people (Deuteronomy 17:8-9; Ezekiel 44:24 b). They must follow God’s laws in their decisions and lead the people in obeying God’s commands. They also help everyone keep the Sabbath holy.
