Ezra 10:7-8
v. 7-8: Ezra sent a message to all the Israelites who had returned from captivity, ordering them to come to Jerusalem within three days (Ezra 10:7-8 a). Because he had the king’s authority, he warned that anyone who did not come would lose their property and be excluded from the community. This punishment meant they would lose their rights and be cut off from the blessings of God’s people (Ezra 7:26 b). –
