Ezra 3:4
v. 4–5: They celebrated all the special feasts of the Lord, especially the Feast of Tabernacles (Ezra 3:4–5 a). This joyful feast was fitting, since God had shown them so much kindness. It also reminded them of how their ancestors lived in tents after leaving Egypt. During the feast, they offered the sacrifices required for each day, as the law commanded (Numbers 29:13-38 b). This teaches us to do the right thing at the right time and make the most of each day for God.
