Gen 2:7 | MHM | STEP | v. 7 : The Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, so man became a living soul. Our bodies are made from simple earth, showing we should be humble (1 Corinthians 15:47 ). But our souls come from God Himself, giving us great value (Ecclesiastes 12:7 ). The body is carefully formed by God, like a potter shapes clay (Isaiah 64:8 ). The soul that God gives is what makes us alive and special. We should use our bodies and souls for God’s honor, remembering that He made both (Psalm 139:14-16 ).
