Genesis 50:24
v. 24: As Joseph was nearing death, he spoke to his brothers and their children. He comforted them by saying that God would surely bring them out of Egypt and back to the land promised to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (v. 24 a). Like his father Jacob had told him (ch. 48:21 b), Joseph now encouraged his family to trust in God’s promise. He reminded them that even though he would die, God would visit and help them, so they should not lose hope.
