‏ Hebrews 12:11

v. 11: He acknowledges that “No chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it” (Hebrews 12:11 a). Discipline hurts at first, but later it brings good results—peace and a righteous life for those who learn from it.
