Hebrews 9:18
v. 18–19: The first covenant was also put into effect with blood. Moses read God’s law to the people and told them all the duties and promises. Then, he took the blood of animals, with water, scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled it on the book of the law and on the people. This act showed that the agreement was sealed with blood, pointing forward to the blood of Jesus (Hebrews 9:18–19 a).
