v. 4: Tell those who are afraid, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance... he will come and save you. God’s people do not need to be afraid, because God Himself will come to rescue them and defeat their enemies. This is a promise of comfort and salvation for all who trust in Him (2 Thessalonians 1:6-7 ^b).
