Isa 56:4-5 | MHM | STEP | v. 4–5 : God gives special encouragement to those who feel left out because they cannot have children. He says that those who keep my sabbaths, choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant will have a place and a name in his house that is better than sons and daughters (Isaiah 56:4–5 ). God will give them an everlasting name that will never be cut off. This means that belonging to God and being part of his people is more important and lasting than having a big family or a famous name on earth. God’s blessing in his house is forever.
