Jeremiah 51:63-64
v. 63–64: Seraiah is instructed to tie the book to a stone and throw it into the Euphrates River. This symbolic act represents the sinking of Babylon, which will never rise again. The prophecy declares that Babylon will be completely destroyed and will not recover from the judgment God brings upon it. The chapter ends with the words, Thus far are the words of Jeremiah, marking the conclusion of this prophecy (Jeremiah 51:63-64; Revelation 18:21 a).
