‏ Job 13:20-22

v. 20-22: Job wishes that God would stop his pain and not frighten him with His power, so that he can talk freely. Only grant me these two things, O God, and then I will not hide from you: withdraw your hand far from me, and let not your terror make me afraid. Then summon me and I will answer, or let me speak, and you reply to me(Job 13:20-22 a). Job wants a fair chance to explain himself to God, without being overwhelmed by pain or fear. He believes that, if given the chance, he can show his innocence before the Lord.
