Job 26:5-6
The Wisdom and Power of God.In this chapter, Job shifts the focus to the greatness of God’s wisdom and power. He and his friends agree on this topic, as they all recognize God’s glory in creation and His control over all things. Job uses vivid descriptions to show how God’s power is displayed in the heavens, the earth, the seas, and even in the unseen realms. Despite all that can be observed, Job concludes that humans only understand a small portion of God’s ways.v. 5-6: Job begins by acknowledging God's power over both the living and the dead. The dead tremble beneath the waters, and their inhabitants. Hell is naked before him, and destruction has no covering (Job 26:5-6 a). Even the grave and the realm of the dead are fully visible to God, reminding us that nothing is hidden from Him (Proverbs 15:11 b). –
