Joh 2:4 | MHM | STEP | v. 4 : Jesus replied, “Woman, what does this have to do with me? My hour has not yet come” (John 2:4 ). Jesus answered his mother respectfully, but he reminded her that his mission was to do God’s will, not just to follow family wishes. He meant that the time for him to fully show his power and glory had not yet come. Still, he cared about the situation and would help in his own way. Jesus teaches us that God’s timing is best.
