If they faithfully follow Him, He will not reject them. This shows God's deep care and mercy (Leviticus 26:9; Leviticus 26:11 ; Hebrews 10:38 ). God will establish His covenant with Israel. If they obey, He will be their God, and they will be His people. This covenant is grounded in their deliverance from Egypt, where God broke their slavery and made them upright. This freedom allows them to serve God without fear and to live rightly. When Israel rejected Christ, their burden became heavier than slavery (Leviticus 26:13; Romans 11:10 ).
