Here, we see how Jesus’ actions, and the crowd’s response, teach us about who He is and how we should respond to Him. v. 28 : Jesus was determined to go to Jerusalem, even though He knew He would suffer and die there (Luke 19:28 ). He led the way, showing He was ready and willing to do God’s will for our sake. If Jesus was so eager to serve us, we should not be slow to serve Him.
